Aims

VISION STATEMENT

Our Vision Statement for our school is that:

  • Children will raise their achievements until they are reaching their full potential.
  • Children will have a desire to learn with education being seen as valuable by both parents and children.
  • Everyone involved in school will develop as part of a highly
committed, highly trained, effective team in which every member is both respected and valued.
  • In the local area we will build on the high regard in which our school is held for its standards of education and behaviour.
  • We will maintain our caring ethos, producing well-rounded,
healthy, active, independent and confident children, supported by staff with a high morale.
  • We will provide high quality and wide ranging resources, which will be handled respectfully by both children and staff.
  • We will continue to improve the internal and external areas to make them attractive, interesting and stimulating.
  • Children will enjoy reading for pleasure as this underpins all subject areas and is an essential life skill.
  • We will ensure that the children have the necessary skills to develop in an increasingly complex technological world.
  • We will promote generic life-skills of problem solving,
communication, teamwork and leadership, which are essential for life in the future.
